Pink Pantheon

​A pre dawn glow lights up Stourhead Gardens in Wiltshire. I’ve only visited the National Trust gardens at Stourhead a couple of times so one October morning I snuck in to the top part of the gardens and got myself set up well before dawn as waves of mist drifted across the lake and through the colourful Autumnal trees. A lovely pink glow filled the location about half an hour before sunrise, turning the famous pantheon into something more like the Pink Palace in India than it’s usual white colour. The low light levels also allowed a six second exposure which added to the dreamy quality of the moment.
